Description
Aglianico that incorporates the specific features of an incredible volcanic territory, the one located on the slopes of Vesuvius, and the characteristics of a vine that has distinguished itself in the panorama of indigenous red berried varieties of Campania.
The manual harvesting of the bunches takes place between the end of October and the beginning of November, to allow the berry to enrich itself in sugar concentration and aromatic complexity. The vinification takes place with maceration on the steel skins at a controlled temperature, followed by aging in wooden barrels for 10 months and for another 6 months in bottle.
Intense ruby red wine. The nose offers a wide and articulated bouquet, with clear perceptions of black cherry and wild blackberry, more lively hints of violet and elegant spices. The sip is soft and fine, with notes reminiscent of berries and strawberry jam.
Ideal with soups and truffles, it goes well with cold cuts and aged cheeses.
