Description
The Unshackled red wine of The Prisoners winery was born in California, in vineyards located in Monterey County, North Coast, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Lodi.
It consists of a blend of red grapes, including Tannat, Syrah, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, which are pressed and vinified at a controlled temperature. The wine then ages for 9 months in American and French wooden barrels.
Ruby red in color, it expresses aromas of berries, cardamom and white pepper on the nose. The sip is full-bodied and balanced, with a soft and persistent finish.
Excellent in combination with stewed red meats and game.
