Description
Marqués de Sandoval Reserva Superior is a red wine of great elegance from the Calatayud region of Aragon, Spain. Produced from vines over 50 years old, this blend of Garnacha, Syrah and Tempranillo offers a complex and rich experience, characterized by a velvety structure and intense aromas of ripe fruit and spices, typical of the area.
After a rigorous selection of grapes, there is a traditional winemaking process, followed by 12 months of aging in oak barrels, which gives depth and aromatic complexity. The long aging allows the wine to develop softness and a refined tannic texture, while preserving the balance between power and finesse.
It has a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose it opens with aromas of berries, ripe cherry and nuances of vanilla and cocoa. On the palate, it is well structured, soft and enveloping, with elegant tannins and a long and persistent finish, enriched by spicy and woody notes.
This red wine pairs ideally with roast or stewed meat dishes, such as lamb or beef, game.
