Description
The Val di Neto Rosato Terre Lontane by Librandi was born in vineyards located in the district of Strongoli and Rocca di Neto/Casanova.
It is mainly produced with Gaglioppo grapes and with Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested during the first week of September. Vinification takes place with draining and short maceration in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in the same containers, and for a further period in the bottle, before being marketed.
Terre Lontane is characterized by a cherry color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with hints of cherries and pink grapefruit, enriched by pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is fresh, pleasant and pleasantly fruity. The wine has a delicate residual sugar.
Perfect to accompany appetizers and cold cuts, it is ideal in combination with fish-based dishes, soups and stews.
