Description

The Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon of Francis Ford Coppola 's Director's Cut line is born in vineyards located in the heart of the AVA Alexander Valley, one of the most important wine regions in California.

It is mainly produced with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and with Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 14 months in French oak barrels, before being bottled.

This Cabernet Sauvignon has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with fruity hints including cherry, plum and blueberry, enriched with notes of anise, cocoa and black pepper. On the palate it is rich and mature, with soft tannins that accompany a pleasantly long and concentrated finish.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
