Description

Claus Preisinger's Pinot Noir is a red wine from Burgenland, Austria. Produced with Pinot Noir grapes grown on sandy clay soil, this wine perfectly expresses the character of the grape variety. The vineyard is approximately 20 years old.

The vinification involves destemming followed by spontaneous fermentation and maceration on the skins in 500 liter open wooden barrels. Subsequently, the wine ages in used wooden barrels, helping to develop its complexity and finesse. This production method allows you to obtain an elegant and lively wine.

Upon olfactory examination, Claus Preisinger's Pinot Noir presents fresh and fragrant aromas with the typical varietal notes of Pinot Noir. In the mouth, it stands out for its elegance and finesse, with a liveliness that makes the wine pleasant and drinkable. The red fruit notes are enhanced by the whole fruit maceration, giving the wine a distinctive and harmonious character.

This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with white or red meat dishes, roasts and mature cheeses.
