Description

Kalkundkiesel White by Claus Preisinger is a white wine produced in Burgenland, Austria. This wine is obtained from a blend of Pinot Blanc, Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling and Muskateller, grown on gravelly limestone soils.

Winemaking involves soft pressing of the grapes, followed by spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels. The refinement takes place in used 10 and 5 hl barrels, allowing the wine to develop a complex and aromatic structure. The wine is not filtered, maintaining a light haze that adds character.

Kalkundkiesel White has an aromatic bouquet with notes of fresh fruit and a light flavor. On the palate, it stands out for its freshness and liveliness, with a savory character that makes it a pleasant and easy-drinking wine. The combination of different grape varieties gives the wine a harmonious complexity and a unique aromatic profile.

This wine pairs perfectly with fish dishes, salads and fresh cheeses.
