On the nose earthy notes, memories of cherries in alcohol and a long balsamic trail at the end. Rich in volume on the palate, with a pleasant acid vein, robust tannins and excellent persistence on the palate.

Description

The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Pian del Prete is a classic example of how a grape variety can integrate perfectly with its territory and its tradition.

Produced 100% from Sangiovese grapes, it comes from a fermentation carried out in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks with prolonged maceration on the skins. We then proceed to the refinement phase which is held in oak barrels for a duration of 36 months, followed by 6 months in the bottle.

In the glass the wine has a ruby red color with garnet hues. The nose reveals aromas of dried fruit, sultanas with dark notes of chocolate and coffee. The sip is full-bodied and harmonious, with velvety and long-lasting tannins.

Excellent in combination with roasts, stewed game and aged cheeses.
