Description

The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva by Marchesato degli Aleramici was born in vineyards located in Pian delle Vigne, in the ancient farmhouse located on the gentle slope that descends from the state forest towards the Ombrone river, in the heart of the magical terroir of Montalcino.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for approximately 20 days. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for 36 months and for a further 4 months in the bottle.

It is characterized by an intense ruby color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a broad bouquet, with elegant spicy hints, tobacco, pleasant aromas of berries and dried flowers. On the palate it is warm, pleasantly dry and refined. The wine has a great structure, with excellent aromatic persistence and light tannins.

Perfect to accompany roasts and game, it is ideal in combination with grilled red meats and mature cheeses.
