Description

The Quercione is a Brunello di Montalcino Riserva that sees the light only in exceptional years, the result of a careful selection of Sangiovese grapes only from the Campogiovanni estate.

Fermentation takes place with maceration in contact with the skins for 25 days at a temperature of 30 ° C. Once the malolactic fermentation is over, the wine is transferred to French oak tonneaux where it rests for 24 months, then remains in the bottle for 36 months before being released on the market.

It has a very intense ruby color. On the nose it exudes penetrating aromas of ripe berries, but also notes of evolution that recall cocoa and leather. The flavor is full and warm, with sweet and velvety tannins.

Magnificent in the company of mixed grills and game, it is superb with truffle-based recipes.
