Description
The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Adalberto from the Caprili winery, owned by the Bartolommei family, present in Montalcino since the beginning of the century and which still today cultivates vineyards in the Podere Caprili, on the southwest slope of the famous Tuscan hill. This Riserva is produced with grapes from the Vigna Madre, with 52-year-old plants.
At the end of the harvest, fermentation with indigenous yeasts takes place and maceration on the skins for 25 days. Before bottling, the wine ages for at least 4 years in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by at least 6 months in the bottle.
It has a ruby red color with garnet hues. The nose reveals aromas of ripe fruit, ethereal and spicy notes. The sip is warm and harmonious.
To be combined with roasted or stewed game and Florentine steak.
