Description

Lisini's Brunello di Montalcino Ugolaia originates in the homonymous vineyard of Ugolaia, on the hills of Montalcino, the production center of the famous Brunello di Montalcino DOCG.

It is produced entirely from Sangiovese Grosso grapes, harvested manually in boxes once it has reached perfect ripeness. Fermentation lasts 20-26 days, under controlled temperature conditions, between 28 and 30 ° C. The wine refines the Slavonian oak barrels for 36 months, then in steel and in bottles for a further 18 months before being released on the market.

It has a deep ruby red color that turns orange with evolution. On the nose there are ethereal notes of extraordinary elegance that are accompanied by hints of goudron, undergrowth, violet and vanilla. On the palate it proves a breed wine, dry, soft and full, with a satisfying finish and great texture.

Excellent with roasts and game dishes, it prefers the company of medium-aged cheeses.
