Description
The Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova di Casanova di Neri comes from a recently acquired property located south of Montalcino and the result of a visionary project born with the aim of producing a Brunello that was elegant and powerful, but also immediately drinkable.
It is made from a selected clone of Sangiovese grapes, which are harvested and selected by hand with great care between the end of September and the first week of October. The fermentation of the must takes place spontaneously, in steel and wood, with contact maceration on the skins for 24 days in controlled temperature conditions.
In the glass it has a bright ruby red color. The olfactory spectrum revolves around fresh hints of fresh red fruit, on elegant traces of balsamic notes. On the palate it is a wide and concentrated wine, with smooth tannins, of great balance and delicacy.
Ideal to combine with braised or game dishes, it perfectly accompanies seasoned cheeses and red meats in general.
