Description

Brunello di Montalcino Selezione Madonna alle Grazie is obtained from a particular selection of grapes harvested in the historic Marroneto vineyard, which takes its name from the small church dating back to 1200 located nearby.

At the end of the harvest, fermentation takes place in Allier oak vats for about 20-22 days. The wine ages in oak barrels for 41 months and refines for another 10 months in the bottle.

Intense garnet red, it is characterized by a bouquet of ripe red fruit, mint and licorice enlivened by hints of bitter coffee. On the palate it is gritty and savory, robust, warm and velvety.

Ideal with long-aged cheeses, stewed meats and game in general.
