Description

Brunello di Montalcino was born in one of the historic cellars of the Montalcino area, which has been cultivating these lands for several generations, producing wines with a classic profile. The vineyards are located in the famous cru of Montosoli, on the north-east side of the hill, which has always been famous for giving wines of great freshness and elegance.

The soils are of calcareous-clayey matrix, rich in marl and alberese, particularly suited to the needs of Sangiovese. At the end of the harvest, the best grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks, with a maceration on the skins for a couple of weeks. The wine ages for at least 3 years in large Slavonian oak barrels and completes the refinement in the bottle.

Refined and elegant, it is ruby red with garnet reflections and gives aromas of morello cherry, wild berries, blood orange and delicate spicy nuances. On the palate it is clear and flowing, with dense tannins well integrated with a ripe fruit, embellished with beautiful evolutionary notes and a very balanced finish.

To be paired with sliced beef, grilled meat or small game on the spit.
