Description
The Brunello di Montalcino of the Salvioni La Cerbaiola company was born near Montalcino, in a vineyard divided into 3 plots and located approx. 400 masl The soils are calcareous-clayey, very rich in marl and particularly suitable for Sangiovese.
The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, which are vinified in steel with spontaneous fermentations. Aging takes place in medium toasted Slavonian oak barrels for up to 36 months.
Deep ruby red in colour, the wine reveals aromas of cherry and ripe red fruit, undergrowth and spices. The sip is structured, with ripe tannins and a persistent finish.
Excellent in combination with red meats and roasted and spit-roasted game.
