Description
Renieri Brunello di Montalcino is a wine universally known for being a poem for the eyes and the palate. It comes from red and clayey lands and from one of the most suitable wine-growing areas of Siena and all of Tuscany. After the manual selection of the bunches collected in wooden boxes, fermentation takes place without the addition of selected yeasts with long maceration on the skins at controlled temperature. After the malolactic fermentation the wine is decanted into tonneaux and wooden barrels for a minimum period of two years. Aging takes place in steel tanks until bottling followed by aging in the bottle, which provides for at least six months of rest before marketing.
It presents itself at the sight of a deep and intense ruby color. The nose is all played six hints of red fruit and a wide spiciness. On the palate it is powerful but balanced, with a very long and persistent finish.
Its remarkable organoleptic profile makes it the ideal wine to accompany structured dishes such as red meats, especially game. To try absolutely with mushrooms and with truffle.
