Description
Brunello di Quercecchio originates in the locality of the same name, located in the southern part of the municipality of Montalcino, on the slope that slopes towards the Maremma. The sandy and clayey soil, together with a very favorable microclimate allow the production of high quality grapes.
Pure Sangiovese, after a careful selection of the grapes it ferments in steel at a controlled temperature with a long maceration on the skins. The wine ages for 3 years in Slavonian and French oak barrels, then ages in bottle for 4 months.
It is of a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose reveals an ethereal scent with hints of berries and vanilla. The palate is warm and structured, velvety and harmonious.
Amazing in the company of roasted meats and aged cheeses.
