Description

Brunello di Montalcino Pianrosso by Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona was born in the vineyard of the same name, located in the municipality of Montalcino, in the province of Siena.

It is produced entirely with Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers and vitrified concrete tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine ages for 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels and for at least 8 months in bottle, before being released on the market.

Brunello di Montalcino Pianrosso by Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona is characterized by a ruby red colour tending towards garnet. The nose opens with intense and complex aromas of ripe red fruit, complemented by pleasant spicy notes. On the palate, it is warm and harmonious, with pronounced tannins that accompany towards a long and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany roasted and stewed game, it is ideal in combination with first courses with seasoning based on the same meats and with seasoned cheeses.
