Description

Brunello di Montalcino di Marchersato degli Aleramici is born in vineyards located in Pian delle Vigne, in the old farmhouse located on the gentle slope that descends from the state forest down to the Ombrone river, in the heart of the magical terroir of Montalcino.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature with a maceration on the skins for about 20 days. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for 36 months and for further 4 months in bottle.

It is characterized by an intense ruby color, with brilliant garnet reflections. The nose opens with a varied bouquet, with elegant spicy hints, tobacco and pleasant aromas of berries. On the palate it is warm, pleasantly dry and refined. The wine has a great structure, with a remarkable aromatic persistence and light tannins.

Perfect to accompany roasts and game, it is ideal in combination with grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
