Description

Brunello di Montalcino di Mastrojanni comes to life in the Poderi Loreto and San Pio, in the heart of Montalcino.

It is produced entirely from Sangiovese grapes, harvested by hand once it reaches full maturity. After fermentation, the wine ages for 36 months in Allier oak barrels and for at least 6 months in glass before being released on the market.

In the glass it is coloured with a bright ruby red with purple reflections. The nose is intense and classic, with fragrant hints of sour cherry and black cherry. In the mouth it reveals intense and tannic, with a nice flavour.

This wine goes wonderfully with game and lamb dishes, but also red meats cooked on the grill and aged cheeses.
