Description

The Brunello di Montalcino Le Due Porte of the Il Palazzone cellar is a classic expression of pure Sangiovese, characterized by an enviable balance between verve, robustness and grace.

The careful harvest conducted manually is followed by traditional fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. It matures for at least 24 months in oak barrels and reaches its maximum potential after a further 12 months of refinement in the bottle.

Bright carmine red in colour, it expresses itself on the nose with tones of ripe cherry, black pepper and sweet spices. In the mouth, it is elegant with a distinctive freshness, well-integrated tannins and a note of candied orange that develops widely in the finish.

Accompanies succulent red meat dishes. Ideal with lamb and game-based dishes.
