Description
The Brunello di Montalcino from Azienda Agricola La Torre comes from the southern slope of the municipality of Montalcino, near Sant'Angelo in Colle, a particularly suitable area thanks to its microclimate and favorable exposure. The pedoclimatic conditions of the area allow the Sangiovese to reach full ripeness, expressing the potential of the territory at its best.
Produced exclusively from Sangiovese grapes of the Brunello variety, the wine matures for 42 months in Slavonian oak barrels. A small part is aged separately for 12 months in barriques, contributing to the complexity and depth of the organoleptic profile without distorting the typicality of the grape.
In appearance, it presents an intense ruby color with garnet reflections. The bouquet is ethereal and complex, with hints of ripe fruit, woodland berries, tobacco, and sandalwood. On the palate, it shows a perfect balance between the aromatic elegance of Sangiovese and the tannic structure imparted by aging in wood.
It elegantly pairs with important dishes of game or aged cheeses.
