Description
The Paradiso by Manfredi Brunello di Montalcino is a highly complex red wine produced entirely from Sangiovese Grosso grapes. The vineyards, with an area of 2.25 hectares, are located on Pliocene conglomerate soils and are planted with a double spurred cordon system with a density of 3,300 vines per hectare, with an average age of 45 years. The principles of Steiner biodynamics are applied in the vineyard.
The vinification involves destemming, pressing, spontaneous fermentation and maceration on the skins for 25 days in vitrified concrete vats of 25 to 50 hl. After racking and decanting with natural clarification, the wine is refined on the fine lees in 26 hl Slavonian oak barrels for 36 months, followed by further refinement in the bottle for 30 months before marketing.
This Brunello di Montalcino stands out for its finesse, structure and depth. It has a ruby red color tending towards garnet. On the nose it offers aromas of violet and dried leaves, cherry. On the palate it is enveloping, full and soft, with tannins that gently caress. It is a great wine that represents a real must for wine lovers.
