Description
Brunello di Montalcino Il Palazzone is an excellent expression of Sangiovese, a distinctive label of the winery which brings with it all the character and austerity of a traditional Brunello.
It is produced only from Sangiovese grapes harvested manually in boxes. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, therefore there is maturation in oak for at least 24 months and refinement for a minimum of 4 months in the bottle.
It has a ruby red color with garnet reflections. Aromas of cherry, plum and sweet spices characterize the olfactory profile. On the palate it is pulpy and mineral with citrus notes in the finish.
Excellent to accompany intensely flavored dishes such as game and mature cheeses. It is also particularly suitable for accompanying roasts.
