Description
Franco Pacenti's Brunello di Montalcino is born in vineyards located on hills on the north-west side of Montalcino.
It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and the wine is subsequently aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for 40 months, followed by at least 4 months in the bottle.
It is characterized by a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with hints of red berries, enriched with pleasant balsamic and toasted notes. On the palate it has excellent structure, elegant and with a long finish.
Perfect to accompany roasted red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with mature cheeses.
