Description

The Brunello di Montalcino of the Col di Lamo company is born on the hills around Montalcino. The company, all female, extends for about 80 hectares, in which the vineyards follow a certified organic regime.

The grapes of Vigna del Lamo are de-stemmed and vinified with indigenous yeasts, with a long maceration at a controlled temperature and frequent pumping over. Aging takes place in tonneaux and large barrels for a minimum of 2 years.

Intense ruby red color, on the nose there are hints of plum and blackberry, in addition to spicy notes. The sip is round and balanced, with delicate tannins and a persistent finish.

To be paired with tasty baked pasta, red meats and stewed game.
