Description

The Bartolommei family has been present in Montalcino since the beginning of the century and still today cultivates vineyards on the Caprili farm, on the southwestern side of the famous Tuscan hill. The vineyards are located near Santa Restituta, at an altitude of about 300 meters above sea level, with a sunny south-west exposure and a mild climate, which favors excellent ripening of the grapes.

At the end of the harvest, fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts and maceration on the skins. Before bottling, the wine ages for at least 3 years in large Slavonian oak barrels.

It has a ruby red color with rich fruity aromas, aromas of ripe cherries, red fruit, undergrowth and spices. On the palate it is harmonious, with tannins well integrated with the ripe fruit.

To be combined with roast game or Florentine steak.
