Description

It is a historic estate, present in Montalcino since the 60s and which still represents one of the best excellences of the area. The farm is located in the north-east area of Montalcino, with parcels in the crus of Canalicchio and Montosoli, which have always been famous for their elegance, freshness and flavor.

The wine is the synthesis of the two territories, the first more clayey and rich, the higher more stony, with marl and mineral components. The grapes are fermented in steel tanks with maceration on the skins for 3 or 4 weeks, followed by a maturation period of 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.

The wine expresses all the finesse and complexity of the great Sangiovese di Montalcino. The color is ruby red and the aromas of cherry, raspberry and currant are complemented by fresh balsamic sensations and a deep and multifaceted sip, with silky tannins and a harmonious finish.

To be combined with first courses with game sauces, game, cut of beef.
