Intense bright ruby. Pomegranate nose with citrus touches and iodized finish. In the mouth it is fresh and very drinkable.

Description

The Brunello di Montalcino di Argiano is a real excellence of the territory from which it originates. It is born on soils rich in marl and clay with high calcareous concentration, from organically managed vineyards aged between 12 and 60 years, at a height of 280–310 meters above sea level.

The harvest takes place at the end of September. The must begins spontaneous fermentation for 2 weeks in steel tanks under controlled temperature conditions, with maceration in contact with the skins. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine remains to mature for 30 months in Slavonian oak barrels of various sizes followed by a long ageing in bottle.

It is proposed to the eye with a ruby red color. The olfactory framework gives characteristic notes of plum and cherry, with delicate spicy and wood nuances. The taste is lively and energetic, with tannins woven into its structure.

It is perfect in combination with second courses of red meats, with game and roasts.
