Description

Brunello di Montalcino di Castello Romitorio comes from vineyards located in the heart of the municipality of Montalcino.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested only by hand. The wine is aged for a total of 5 years, of which generally 12 months in French tonneaux, 14 months in Slavonian barrels, and for a further 6 months in bottle.

It is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with a fresh bouquet with hints of red fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of vanilla, cloves and licorice. On the palate it is pleasantly persistent, with smooth tannins and balanced acidity.

Perfect to accompany red meats, game and mushrooms, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses and as a meditation wine.
