Description
The Brunello di Montalcino Casalino di Bonacchi is produced on the Sienese hills. The vineyards surrounding the farm grow on land composed mainly of alberese and marl. The logo on the label, representing oak leaves, is a tribute to the artist Jacopo della Quercia, who lived in the 1400s and was born in the nearby town of Quercegrossa.
Composed exclusively of Sangiovese grosso grapes, the grapes are vinified in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, to then be aged in different types of wood: both in large oak barrels, in barriques and in tonneaux.
In the glass the wine appears ruby red. The nose reveals aromas of wild berry jam, spicy and vanilla notes. The sip is full-bodied and balanced, with a persistent finish.
The Brunello di Montalcino Casalino di Bonacchi is ideal in combination with red meats and game, both stewed and roasted, and aged cheeses.
