Description
Palazzotto is a red wine produced by the Maculan family, a historic Venetian winery that has been active for three generations. The grapes come from the Breganze hills, a charming area at the foot of the Venetian Prealps, characterized by volcanic and tuff soils and a mild climate thanks to the protection of the Asiago Plateau. This unique terroir gives the wine elegance and structure.
Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, it is vinified with fermentation in stainless steel and an eight-day maceration with frequent pump-overs. The aging takes place for one year in French oak barriques, half new and half second-use, to ensure complexity and balance between the fruit and woody notes.
With a bright ruby red color, this wine stands out for its elegant and intense aroma, characterized by hints of licorice and red fruit. On the palate, it is full and dry, with a well-balanced structure, where the noble tannins of the wine harmoniously blend with those of the wood.
This red wine is perfect with roasts, braises, and mixed meat grills, enhancing the flavors thanks to its intensity and persistence.
