Description
This Brachetto d'Acqui originates from small vineyards facing east, located on limestone soils at an altitude of 150–200 meters above sea level.
The must is obtained by soft pressing of the berries, then a 48-hour maceration at low temperature remains. At the end of the fermentation, the second fermentation in pressurized tanks according to the Charmat method begins, followed by ageing of 2 months in the bottle.
It shows a light ruby red colour with purple reflections. On the nose, it offers elegant and delicate hints of wild rose and strawberry, characteristic of the starting vine. In the mouth it is pleasantly sweet and fresh, slightly tannic and naturally sparkling.
It is excellent to accompany the moment of desserts, especially fruit tarts and cream desserts. Try it with a bowl of fruit salad.
