Description
Louis Jadot's Bourgogne Côte d'Or is a refined expression of Pinot Noir, harvested exclusively in the prestigious Côte area. Each vintage brings with it a variable selection of grapes, combining those from the regional appellation with those from the villages of the Côte d'Or, to reflect the richness and diversity of the terroir.
Winemaking involves manual harvesting of the grapes and partial aging in oak barriques, giving the wine spicy and toasted notes, as well as fine and elegant tannins.
The color is intense ruby red. The nose opens with lively aromas of cherries and dark berries, combined with delicate floral hints and a light spiciness. These aromas are confirmed on the palate, where the liveliness of the fruit combines with a balanced structure and soft tannins, leading to a pleasantly persistent finish.
It pairs perfectly with red meats, mushroom-based dishes and medium-aged cheeses, enhancing the complexity and elegance of Pinot Noir.
