Description

The Bourgogne Pinot Noir Cuvée Signature by Moillard-Grivot is a wine produced from scrupulously selected grapes from vineyards located in the heart of the Côte-d'Or. This region is renowned for its unique terroir, which helps create wines of extraordinary quality and complexity.

The winemaking follows traditional methods, with a strict selection of the grapes which are cooled in stainless steel tanks for 5-7 days to enhance the fruity aromas. The fermentation continues in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, with frequent pigeages and pumping over. Subsequently, the wine is transferred by gravity into oak barrels, used 1 to 4 times, of which 40% are new, for a 12-15 month refinement during which natural malolactic fermentation takes place.

It has a deep garnet color enriched with violet reflections, while on the nose delicate woody notes are distinguished integrated with aromas of red and black fruits. On the palate, the wine is rich and powerful, supported by silky tannins that lead to a long and persistent finish.

This Pinot Noir is the perfect pairing with dishes such as stewed veal where its structure and complexity blend harmoniously with the tenderness and flavors of the dish.
