Description
The Vielles Vignes of Domaine Albert Sounit was born in the vineyards of Les Saulniers and Le May.
The wine is made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, which are first destemmed and then transferred to steel tanks. There is a cold maceration for 5-7 days, followed by fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine then ages for 10 months in French oak barrels (10% new). The wine is bottled unfiltered.
Ruby red in color, it opens on the nose with hints of cherry, plum, liquorice, black pepper, coffee and vanilla. The sip is intense, with excellent structure and persistence.
Ideal in combination with roast pork, duck and other noble poultry.
