Description

Bourgogne Pinot Noir, also known as Bourgogne Rouge, is an elegant and versatile red wine, produced exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes by Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret. This wine comes from the renowned Burgundy region of France, from limestone soils on deep clay.

The vines are harvested manually, with a careful selection of the bunches. The wine undergoes a complete destemming and is refined in oak barrels already used for two wines, thus preserving the freshness and typicality of Pinot Noir.

It presents itself with a medium intensity dress, which can vary depending on the vintage, often with purple tones in its youth. Over time this wine develops a rich range of red fruit aromas, sometimes accompanied by delicate animal notes during aging. On the palate it is distinguished by its soft structure and moderate tannins.

This red wine pairs perfectly with meat dishes, poultry and cheeses.
