Description
Burgundy has always been the home of Chardonnay, the region that translates into its best expression. The vineyards extend in different areas of the Côte-d'Or, in particular between the departments of Saône-et-Loire and Yonne, from soils consisting of a limestone-clayey soil.
The grapes are immediately pressed upon arrival in the cellar. Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C, after which the wine matures for 10 months in Vosges oak barrels.
Pale straw yellow, it has a fresh and elegant nose with hints of white flowers, lime and hazelnut. On the palate it denotes a good freshness that interacts very well with woody, toasted and dried fruit notes.
Excellent to serve in combination with poultry and fish with sauces, it also goes well with light cold cuts.
