Description

The Bourgogne Chardonnay from Domaine Coche-Dury is a white wine that represents an excellent introduction to the quality and distinctive style of one of Burgundy's most celebrated white wine producers. This Chardonnay is a classic expression of the Domaine's philosophy, which seeks to preserve the integrity and purity of the terroir without changing its essence.

The winemaking is done with a minimal but meticulous approach. The Chardonnay grapes are gently pressed to extract only the purest juice, after vinification the aging takes place in barriques, half of which are renewed every year. During the aging, regular bâtonnage helps to develop the aromatic complexity and structure of the wine, while maintaining its freshness.

It has a bright straw yellow color. The nose expresses dominant aromas of white fruits, such as apple and pear, accompanied by delicate floral notes and toasted hazelnut. On the palate it is rich and soft, with a nice acidity that balances the structure, making the tasting harmonious and persistent.

This wine pairs perfectly with grilled fish dishes, shellfish, white meats in light sauce and soft cheeses.
