Description
Domaine Bruno Colin’s Bourgogne Chardonnay is a white wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, from an area of 0.80 hectares in Chassagne-Montrachet. The vines, planted in different years, are located on clay-limestone soils and managed according to organic methods, with mechanical tillage and plowing of the soil.
The harvest is done manually with a careful selection of the grapes directly in the vineyards to ensure the highest quality of the fruit. The vinification and refinement process involves aging for 12 months in barrels. Subsequently, the wine rests for a further 4-6 months in steel tanks before bottling. This refinement method allows to preserve the freshness and aromatic purity of the wine, enhancing the varietal characteristics of Chardonnay.
To the eye it presents itself with a pure and clear tone, enriched by delicate green reflections. To the nose it is very fresh and direct, with inviting aromas of white fruits. To the palate it is rounded with a pleasant minerality and a lively finish. It is a highly expressive, seductive and complete wine capable of offering a refined and well-balanced tasting experience.
This white wine is ideal to pair with grilled fish dishes or shellfish.
