Description

François Jobard, together with his son Antoine, cultivates 6 hectares of vineyards located mainly in the best territories of Meursault. Yields are kept extremely low to give the wines a harmonious structure. The maturation of the wines is long and varies from 20 to 24 months in barrels already used for up to 10 years, even for the most prestigious cuvées. These classic Meursaults are full of energy and personality, complex wines that know how to evolve and last a long time.

The winemaking involves manual harvesting and careful selection of the grapes. Fermentation takes place in used oak barrels, followed by long aging on the lees to develop complexity and structure. This traditional process allows the wine to fully express Meursault's terroir, combining elegance and depth.

At sight, the wine has a brilliant straw yellow color. On the nose, notes of citrus fruits, such as lemon, and tropical fruit, such as pineapple, emerge. In the mouth, it offers a good finish with hints of oak, which add further complexity to the aromatic profile.

This wine pairs perfectly with grilled or baked fish dishes, enhancing the delicate citrus notes and the round structure of the wine.
