Description
Domaine Pierre Boisson's Bourgogne Blanc is produced entirely from Chardonnay grapes, harvested from vines with an average age of 35 years located in 4 parcels in Meursault: Les Belles Côtes, Les Vaux, Les Gelerands and Les Coutures.
Following the pressing of the bunches, fermentation takes place solely in barriques. Once the malolactic fermentation is completed, the wine ages for 18 months in partially new barrels, then is bottled by gravity.
It presents itself in a lively straw yellow color. On the nose, hints of citrus emerge intertwined with notes of wood and mineral nuances. When tasted, it is tense and rich with a marked flavor that leads to a persistent and complex finish.
Suitable in combination with fresh cheeses, it is excellent in the company of seafood and fish-based recipes.
