Description
Bourgogne Aligoté by Emmanuel Rouget is a white wine produced in Burgundy, France, using only Aligoté grapes. This grape variety, less known than Chardonnay, is appreciated for its freshness and vivacity, characteristics that are best expressed in the terroir of Burgundy.
After harvesting, the grapes are carefully vinified to preserve their natural acidity and aromatic notes. The aging takes place in containers that do not mask the fruity and mineral character of the wine.
On the nose, notes of citrus, green apple, and light herbaceous nuances emerge, accompanied by hints of honey and flint. On the palate, this wine is light, fresh and acidulous, with a mineral and persistent finish.
This white wine pairs perfectly with seafood, fatty fish such as salmon or tuna, and soft, sweet cheeses.
