Description
Bordeaux Rouge D de Dauzac is a wine from Château Dauzac, one of the Bordeaux château which in recent decades has seen a significant increase in the quality of wines to the point of enjoying one of the emblems of the region. The origins of the Château date back to the 16th century.
The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes are vinified in red in thermo-controlled steel vats. The wine then follows an aging in French oak barrels for a few months.
Ruby red in color, it reveals aromas of small red and black fruits to the nose, the balsamic notes of lavender and spices. The sip is full-bodied, with fine and silky tannins and a long finish.
This wine is perfect in combination with roasted red meats and pork, as well as aged cheeses.
