Description
The Bonarda Frizzante dell'Oltrepò Pavese Vaiolet di Monsupello was born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Torricella, Verzate, Redavalle and Pietra de' Giorgi.
It is produced exclusively with Croatina grapes, harvested around the first week of October. The vinification begins with the destemming-crushing of the grapes, to then move on to a period of cold pre-maceration before alcoholic fermentation. Subsequently the first wine is extracted, which will be the basis for the Vaiolet, then carrying out a refermentation with sweet must and selected yeasts before being bottled.
Vaiolet is characterized by an intense red color with violet reflections. It has an intense and fine bouquet, enriched by pleasant hints of violet and aromas of small red fruits. On the palate it is pleasantly dry, characterized by a good softness that accompanies the balanced tannin of the Croatina.
Perfect to accompany appetizers, cold cuts and first courses, it is ideal in combination with white meats and red meats.
