Intense in the dark soul, it shows solid and compact and closes with a decidedly vertical finish.

Description

The Bolgheri Superiore Piastraia of the Michele Satta company was born in the renowned Tuscan hills.

It is produced from Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese grapes all harvested and selected manually. The vinification and maceration are carried out in small oak vats with the cap submerged by hand for about 20 days. This is followed by passage in new French oak barriques where, after blending, it rests between 18 and 24 months.

It is a wine characterized by an intense red color. The nose opens with an elegant bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, such as blackberry and blueberry, enriched by pleasant summer hints of green grass and hay. On the palate it is harmonious, refined and pleasantly deep.

Ideal to combine with first courses with elaborate meat sauces, it goes perfectly with aged cheeses and game.
