Description

The Bolgheri Rosso Superiore Impronte by Giorgio Meletti, a company founded in 2002 and located in southern Tuscany.

It consists of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes, which undergo a cold prefermentation maceration. Fermentation takes place with autochthonous yeasts and at a controlled temperature. The wine ages in new barriques for 14 months, followed by 12 months in the bottle.

Deep ruby red in color, the nose is expressed with aromas of small red fruits, currants and raspberries, enriched with notes of mint and licorice. The sip is full-bodied, with soft tannins and a good persistence.

It goes well with both roasted and grilled red meats.
