Description

Bolgheri Superiore di Campo alle Comete is a blend of four international varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, vinified separately in steel tanks for about 25 days. Maturation takes place for 15-18 months in French oak tonneaux and for at least 10-12 months in the bottle.

Intense ruby red wine with purple reflections. It expresses a complex bouquet on the nose characterized by hints of black cherry and mint, enriched with elegant notes of bitter cocoa. In the mouth it is full-bodied and balanced, with well-integrated tannins and a surprisingly long finish with fruity and mineral tones.

Ideal with starters based on aged cheeses and cured meats, it goes well with grilled red meats or game dishes. Try it with dark chocolate.
