Description
The Bolgheri Superiore Arnione di Campo alla Sughera was born in vineyards located in the heart of the magical terroir of Bolgheri.
It is produced 40% with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, 20% with Cabernet Franc grapes, 20% with Merlot grapes and 20% with Petit Verdot grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 30 ° C for 12-15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 18 months, and for a further 12 months in bottle.
Arnione is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a large and complex bouquet, with hints of strawberry, blackberry and blueberry, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of licorice and vanilla. On the palate it is with a harmonious and balanced body, pleasantly soft and elegant. The wine has fine and velvety tannins.
Perfect to accompany game and grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with mushroom dishes and aged cheeses.
